Anna took a respite from the main play area in the toddler section, fenced-off from the 'big kids' and had fun with slightly more age-appropriate toys. She also tried to open the wall...nobody said being a toddler was easy.

Ms. Dianne was Nate's day care provider from 19 months until age 4. There are not enough words to express our sincere gratitude to Dianne, her husband Robert and her team who turned an in-home day care into a wonderful world of learning, joy and creativity for our son and later, albeit briefly, our daughter Anna. We wish Dianne and Robert all the happiness in the world in their retirement.

...is only a living room away. Ok, so, not exactly how the lyrics go, but, worth a shot. Due to pneumonia, we kept Anna away from Mommy while she was recovering from her surgery. Nate was so busy during the first few days of recovery, that he barely saw Mommy as well. Mommy is now able to do 'milk and stories' with Nate before bed, but can't pick up either Nate or Anna. Anna went nearly 5 full days without seeing Mommy, but, she was very snuggly and happy once we let her see Mommy. Combined with getting over pneumonia, she is a much happier and less-drippy little girl.

Uncle Louis and Nate are buds. They don't get to see each other all too often, but when they do, they play fun stuff together, like trains and trucks and blocks. Uncle Louis even made a sled for him and Nate to use on Christmas Eve. Pictured below are the uncle and nephew on New Year's Night, with Nate getting a good-night lift from Louis before bed.
