Nate's First Trip to Auntie Claire's Place

Auntie Claire made dinner for Nana, Mommy and Daddy. I met cousin Luke. Apparently, I met him when I was a day old, but I have so few memories from that time in my life-it was a difficult period for me. Oh, and if you hadn't noticed, aren't I just the cutest baby in my little striped bug hat. Nana couldn't get enough.

Cranial Growth

A lot is being made of the size of Barry Bond's head. Speculation is that he's been juicing...taking 'roids. I can say, unequivocally that my cranial growth is 100% natural and I'm not afraid to say it! My advice to Barry: stick to milk, it's working for me!

Ready For The Cold

Mom tries to get me outside at least once a day. This can be fairly traumatic, considering it's still winter. But, I'm adjusting, and after all, I am a "New Englander" by birth. That means I'll have an unnatural affinity for lousy weather, baseball teams that win the World Series every 86 years or so and mispronouncing words that have "aahhrrrs" in them.

I'm Trying Out This New Gym...I Think It's A Baby Bowflex

They call this some sort of baby gym, but I think it's an elaborate contraption to get Mom and Dad out of having to hold me all the time. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do with these dangling things, but at some point I plan to put every single one of them in my mouth.

Sure, I'm growing and becoming more active, alert and aware of my surroundings. But that takes all my energy. And when I'm tired there is nothing better than going into complete "peanut" mode and crashing on Mom. Life is gooooooood.

I made my first foray to Nana and Grampa's house. I surveyed the construction, enjoyed the view of the golf course and demonstrated how well I can behave in front of people who are not my parents. As you can see, I warranted nothing more than a passing glance from Grandpa's cat. Cousin Luke and I will have fun with her in due time...
