The Wooden Play Ground

We live about equidistant between 2 playgrounds. One is more modern and consists of mostly plastic apparatus. The other is bigger, older and is made out of wood - and therefore dubbed by Nate to be...'The Wooden Playground.' Sure, it could use some repairs and is a veritable splinter factory, but Nate likes it, it's a good change of pace and there are lots of small, teeny-tiny pebbles that wind up in shoes, pants pockets and now Anna's mouth.

A preview of the next decade or so...

Nate goes. Anna goes after him. Repeat. Everywhere. With some luck and decent parenting, hopefully she follows him to good places and he always brings her home.
