Merry (early) Christmas 2009!

Santa came early for Nate and Anna.

Twas a Week Before Christmas...

...when chaos reigned, wrapping paper tore and and thoughts of a foot or more of snow preoccupied one and all.

The first of 2 early Christmases was celebrated on Saturday when mommy's friends came over for brunch and gift-giving. And mommy made a killer brunch, too!

Oh, Christmas Tree!

Nate was like a puppy, dancing around the Christmas tree we put up today. We explained that Christmas is still a month away, which dampened his enthusiasm only somewhat.

Baby Spice?

Ok, not exactly, but given her penchant for eating (4 meals a day, no signs of stopping), quite appropriate that she's hanging out in front of the stove with the spices.

Head of Her Class

The day after Thanksgiving, Anna successfully removed a toy car directly from Nate's skull with no medical training or anesthesia while Nate sat quietly, happily, on the stairs. Then, just to prove she could do something unique with her own head, she stuck her cranium between the rod iron railing supports. Just another day at Tranquility Base.

...Nate had an honest-to-goodness dinner after collecting candy that will be duly distributed to all the people Daddy works with on Monday...
