Tummy Time

I'm still working on it, but eventually I'll enjoy spending time on my tummy. This morning, I had some tummy time on Daddy's tummy, holding my head up and posing as Mommy took some candid shots. At this point, though, all I can really do on my tummy is drool and hold my head and shoulders up a little bit.

A Memorable Memorial Day

I had my first picnic at Webb Memorial State Park overlooking Hingham Bay. There were lots of kids, dogs and sunshine. We found a shadey spot and enjoyed a picnic lunch whipped up by Mommy's friend, Elizabeth. And yes, it was (finally!!) so warm and sunny that I needed a hat.

...and I'm Spent

Sometimes I get so excited on my play matt that I just wear myself out...

UPDATED BY POPULAR DEMAND!

OK, we finally got back the camera-to-computer USB cord which was left behind in Maryland...enjoy!

Some New Stuff

Cousin Luke was kind enough to let me borrow some of his stuff so that I would have lots of my creature comforts during the weeks that Auntie Meg takes care of me. I'm loving his baby bowflex, it's got more dangling friends for me to meet and pull on.

As Long As I'm In The Picture...

...it's a good one. As you can see, the fact that Daddy and Mommy aren't exactly "featured" in this photo is not necessarily a bad thing, since I'm smack-dab in the middle...

Grand Parents In Da' House

Grandmom Lin and Grandpa Matt came to stay with us to look after me for a week while Mommy and Daddy were at work. Their dog, Maggie, helped too. She guarded me in my crib at night and required ID before letting anyone near me, even to change my pants or feed me. We took lots of pictures before they drove home...

Final Thoughts on My Trip to Bethesda

I had such a good time. I met relatives. I was snuggled and cuddled all the time by my grandparents. In fact, I was so content, I didn't even mind getting my diaper changed on the floor...

Grandmom Lin Loves to Hold Me (can you blame her?)

Yup, I've said before and I'll go right on saying it: grandmothers can't get enough of me. Doesn't matter where or when, I'm just irresistable.

Hanging Out with Grandpa Matt

Yep, safe to say my cuteness and cuddle-ability has won over both grandfathers. Here I am spending some quality time with Grandpa Matt in his favorite chair...I believe it is one where he spends a lot of time watching football and basketball games while eating salted snacks...

I've Got Relatives Everywhere!

That's Aunt Margaret and Cousin Ally at Margaret's house in Arlington, VA. She's a big fan of geneology and I can only assume by now that she's got Ally and me listed in her extensive files!

My Trip to Bethesda

I hung with Grandmom Lin, Grandpa Matt and Uncle Louis. I survived the plane, behaved myself and was cute for the other passengers to marvel at. I also got to meet Great Aunt Margaret, her daughter Charline and Charline's daughter Valerie, and her daughter Ally--all these relatives, I need a score card to keep track of who's who. And Maggie the Dog--she sniffed me but otherwise she seemed somewhat unimpressed with me. Soon enough, though, I have plenty of food to drop by mistake for her to scoop up.

Of course, AirTran sent my stroller and car seat base to Ft. Lauderdale. They eventually caught up to me at home, though.

Grandpa

Grandpa came to see me a few weeks ago. We hung out, shook hands and smiled at each other while he bounced me on his knee. I eventually fell asleep on him. I'm worried that I'm going to be competing with his cat for lap space in the near future. She can be a dangerous little feline and let's face it, has more dexterity with her claws than me at this point. I'm a very lucky little guy to have grandparents, both near and far, that care about me so much.

Sitting Up & Taking Notice

I'm beginning to get a whole new perspective on things, now that I'm sitting up. Of course, I can't really sit up yet, but Mommy and Daddy keep propping my up in my Boppy and my Bumbo (thanks Auntie Sue!) and I'm trying to maintain some upper-body balance. Although, it makes it hard to squiggle and squirm, which are my two most favorite activities (when I'm not sleeping or eating).

Deep Thoughts...

I might be sleeping. I might be day dreaming. I might even be pondering Curt Schilling's 4-0 start for the Red Sox. No matter what, though, I'm cute and there is no getting around that fact!

Miles of Smiles

Furthering my hold over most adults, my cuteness factor increases exponentially when I smile. Just check out these pictures if you don't believe me.

Sweep!

I'm very excited that the Red Sox swept the Orioles over the weekend! I'm still too young to be sleeping out on the street next to Fenway looking for tickets to Opening Day on Tuesday, but at 5-1 (and the Yankees in last place!), I'm feeling pretty good about my Red Sox.
