Welcome Anna!

Anna Catherine Flaherty joined us on Monday and came home today. She's a little peanut at 6lb 15 oz and 18.5 inches at birth. Despite her diminutive size, she is still a handful, is nursing like a champ and expects to sleep through every night starting tomorrow, or the next day or maybe the next...we'll keep you posted on that one.

Perhaps Cousin Mike's Wedding Spurred Labor

We'll never know for sure, but these are just some of the loving, wonderful and somewhat nutty relatives anxiously awaiting Anna's arrival.

Play Group Cook Out at Eliza's House

Nate's playgroup friends held a cookout at Eliza's house. What a day! Lots of frolicking in the yard, playing on the airplane, Nate pouring water on himself and even a little surprise baby "sprinkle" for Julia. We ache for such a perfect summer day in the cold dreary days of winter.

Ducks Unlimited at Pond Meadow Park

Nate likes Pond Meadow Park, where he gets to throw rocks in the pond, hunt for turtles and climb up and over the dam. On this day in August, Nate helped feed some ducks and then rested on a bench as he ran out of gas before his mid-day nap.

Binkie Transition?

Trying to ween off the pacifier is going ok, but every now and then, we regress. Not sure how he wound up with TWO, but it was too cute not to photograph.

Here's Trouble

We spent some time with cousins Luke and Layla recently. Nate and Luke are like 2 peas in a pod and Layla, not yet a year old, is already walking. Look out!
