Oh, Christmas Tree!

Nate was like a puppy, dancing around the Christmas tree we put up today. We explained that Christmas is still a month away, which dampened his enthusiasm only somewhat.

Baby Spice?

Ok, not exactly, but given her penchant for eating (4 meals a day, no signs of stopping), quite appropriate that she's hanging out in front of the stove with the spices.

Head of Her Class

The day after Thanksgiving, Anna successfully removed a toy car directly from Nate's skull with no medical training or anesthesia while Nate sat quietly, happily, on the stairs. Then, just to prove she could do something unique with her own head, she stuck her cranium between the rod iron railing supports. Just another day at Tranquility Base.

And just for the record...

...Nate had an honest-to-goodness dinner after collecting candy that will be duly distributed to all the people Daddy works with on Monday...

Halloween

Woody, from Toy Story, and Dorothy, from...you know, that movie with the girl and the dog and the witch...what the heck was it called...?

Belkin Family Lookout Farm II

You expect me to pick them off the trees? Yeah, right. The only apple picking I do is from the fridge when no one is looking. Skin? I expect them to be cut up into nice convenient wedges and peeled, of course.

Belkin Family Lookout Farm I

I will eat it. Oh yes, I will.

The Wooden Play Ground

We live about equidistant between 2 playgrounds. One is more modern and consists of mostly plastic apparatus. The other is bigger, older and is made out of wood - and therefore dubbed by Nate to be...'The Wooden Playground.' Sure, it could use some repairs and is a veritable splinter factory, but Nate likes it, it's a good change of pace and there are lots of small, teeny-tiny pebbles that wind up in shoes, pants pockets and now Anna's mouth.
